Summarizing the Results

The last part of measuring is to summarize the results of each worksheet into a single amount that represents the entire impact for that event. This is fairly simple and only requires the transfer of the final total at the bottom of each worksheet to be placed in the appropriate cell in the form below, and then adding these together. For the Vendor managed inventory example that we worked through, the final total profit impact on the customer’s bottom line would be $16,250
